This organization is right in your backyard and helps children of YOUR COMMUNITY!

 The Child Advocates mobilizes court appointed volunteers to break the vicious cycle of child abuse. We speak up for abused children who are lost in the system and guide them into safe environments where they can thrive.

Children’s advocacy centers (CACs) serve as the first stop for children who have experienced sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, or who have witnessed a violent crime. CACs provide a trauma-informed, child-friendly environment where the CAC and their multidisciplinary team partners can share information and develop effective, coordinated strategies to meet the needs of each case and child.

Their goal:  to reduce trauma to child abuse victims and their families. To provide some kind of normality after trauma and/or abuse.
